WMD found in Sydney

Some new toys arrived this week, a Velodyne DD-15 subwoofer and the new Oppo DV-970HD DVD player.

The DD-15 is capable of doing weekend work demolishing homes, but I'll be tuning it to ensure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands and cause irrepairable damage to the neighbourhood.

The Oppo will be used as a DVD transport to feed a 576i HDMI signal into the DVDO VP30, a job which it should do well, and at a budget price.
